Gujarat | Gujarat High Court directed the state government on December 2nd 2020 to come up with a notification mandating “Community service at Covid Centers for those found not wearing masks”. However, the Supreme Court has put a stay on the order on 3rd December 2020. A bench of justices Ashok Bhushan, R Subhash Reddy & M.R. Shah stayed the direction on a plea by State Government which contended that the Gujrat High Court’s order is contrary to law and will have adverse impact on the public health system. |
