November 30, 2020 Government of Uttar Pradesh Uttar Pradesh The Uttar Pradesh government on Nov 30, issued a fresh set of guidelines, authorizing the districts’ administration to impose local restrictions, including night curfews, depending on the assessment and requirement of the situation in a bid to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), according to a circular issued by chief secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari. November 30, 2020 Government of Rajasthan Rajasthan

In view of the increasing cases of Covid-19 in Rajasthan, the Rajasthan government has decided to impose lockdown in containment zones, and night curfew in 13 districts. Also, schools and colleges will remain closed till December 31, 2020.

The state government has increased the number of districts where night curfew will be imposed from 8 to 13 – Kota, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bhilwara, Nagaur, Pali, Tonk, Sikara and Ganganagar. However, it will not be applicable on factories with production of continuous nature and night shift, IT companies, chemist shops, marriage halls etc.

November 25, 2020 Ministry of Home Affairs All States and UTs

The Union ministry of home affairs on Wednesday released a fresh set of guidelines for surveillance, containment and caution against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19). The fresh norms will be effective from December 1, 2020 and will remain in place till December 31, 2020.

The Centre has also allowed states to impose local restrictions, including night curfews to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease. The states, however, cannot impose any local lockdown, outside the containment zones, without prior consultation with the central government.

November 22, 2020 Government of Rajasthan Rajasthan The government in Rajasthan has imposed night curfew in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Bikaner, Udaipur, Ajmer, Alwar and Bhilwara. Nobody except those providing essential and emergency services will be allowed to come out from 8 pm to 6 am in few cities in Rajasthan. Under Atmanirbhar Bharat 3.0, the finance minister has released a slew of measures such as the following:

New employees or those who had lost jobs between March 1, 2020 & September 30, 2020 joining EPFO registered organizations will get certain benefits.
If new employees of requisite number are recruited from October 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, the establishments will be covered for the next two years.
For 2 years the Central government will pay for:
- Firms with over 1000 employees: Govt to pay employees EPF contribution of 12%
- Firms with up to 1000 employees: Govt to pay employee’s and employer’s contribution to EPF of 12% each
Employees will have to seed Aadhaar with EPFO account.

November 12, 2020 Government of Uttar Pradesh Lucknow On July 14, the Uttar Pradesh Government had imposed a weekend lockdown in the state to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
