EU Regulator Recommends AstraZeneca’s COVID Vaccine Alternative. AstraZeneca's preventive treatment is an antibody cocktail that has already been approved by the US FDA. AstraZeneca's COVID-19 prevention shot has been recommended by the European Union's Drug regulatory body, the EMA (European Medicines Agency).
The preventive treatment, called Evusheld, is an antibody cocktail therapy meant for those who can't take the vaccine, or for whom the vaccine is inadequate—usually because of underlying health issues.

Singapore extends vaccinated travel lane for all Indian flights. Under the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL), eligible travellers are allowed into Singapore without quarantine requirement. Earlier, the service, launched on November 29, 2021, was applicable only for flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. Now, more travellers from India, who are fully vaccinated, may use the VTL for quarantine-free travel, Singapore Tourism Board said in a statement.
