Internet of Things in Smart Cities

Internet of Things in smart cities is related not only to use of robust technology but more so to the social aspect of ease of use which will allow larger acceptability and improved efficiencies in ensuring urban transformation in a city. Digital ubiquity has spurred the adoption of Internet of Things. However IOT must adhere to the 4 C’s principle, namely, Creative, Correlated, Collaborative and Certified in order for it to be a success in any smart city.
