Webinar on recently enacted 4 Labour Codes
Interaction with the Labour Commissioner and specialists
Event date : 20 October
The Ministry of Labour and Employment recently passed four labour codes and consolidated many central laws with an objective to simplify and modernise labour regulations. These codes regulate (i) Wages (ii) Social Security (iii) Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions and (iv) Industrial Relations. The changes are expected to have a major boost to labour reforms and impact almost every organisation in every sector. It is expected that the new laws will reduce complexities, improve ease of compliance, usher in more transparency and accountability and help both employers and workers. However, the actual impact will need to be seen. The new codes are expected to enhance compliances significantly especially due to increased penal liabilities. Along with KPMG Partners, we will have a panel of Labour Commissioner and specialists from industry to discuss the new regulations
