Vivek Gupta

Vivek is a Partner and leads KPMG in India’s M&A/ Private Equity Tax and Family Office practices. He has over 25 years of experience across private equity and corporate M&A transactions as well as business re–organisations.

Vivek has acted on a number of complex transactions across industries for Private Equity as well as strategies – including some of the largest transactions in the e-commerce and retail spaces, media, telecom, real estate, and industrials. Vivek has also actively worked with Indian companies, seeking liquidity on foreign markets, through overseas listing or SPACs. Prior to joining KPMG in India, Vivek led the M&A & PE Practice for BMR Advisors and played a key role in the establishment of the corporate finance practice at BMR Advisors. He has been regularly ranked as one of the leading M&A Advisors in India in the ITR rankings for India.
