Our applied research projects are targeted at improving the quality of people’s lives, in areas such as resilience, urban security, sustainable planning and development, climate change solutions, and citizen engagement at national and European level.

We leverage our diverse skill set including proposal and report writing, data monitoring and evaluation, qualitative and quantitative analysis, website and dashboard development, dissemination, communication, and commercial exploitation of key research projects. As a result, our work has produced research that contributes to understanding our changing world and the economic, social and technological context that is leading that change.

Our credentials

KPMG Future Analytics is an established leader in the European-funded research sphere, having attracted over €4.8 million in funding via 17 research projects. We have in addition, secured project funding (total project funding rather than KPMG-FA share) across a range of consortia totalling almost 40m for European funded projects, for example HARMONISE and RESILENS, where we have wither led or had a core role as active partners.

We have a strong stakeholder network comprising governmental bodies, pan-European infrastructure providers, and higher education partners. In 2012 and 2017, FAC was presented with the Enterprise Ireland and President Michael D. Higgins ‘Ireland’s Champions of EU Research’ Award as one of the most successful SMEs in Ireland in securing R&D funding under the EU FP7 programme.

From coordinating major FP7 and H2020 projects to leading work packages based on our service offering of providing technical and business solutions to the challenges that emerge from large-scale, pan-European research consortia.
