Úna Curtis

Úna is a principal in the Department of Professional Practice. She has over 30 years of experience in providing technical accounting advice under IFRS and Irish GAAP to a wide range of entities from multinationals to domestic Irish entities. She has advised on clients operating in the financial services, semi-state, technology, pharmaceutical, services, real estate, manufacturing, and consumer goods sectors. Úna is a member of the KPMG Global Topic Team on Leases and has recently been appointed a member of the IASB’s SME Implementation Group. Úna worked closely with the Company Law Reform Group on the consolidation of Irish company law and with the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation on the transposition of the EU Accounting Directive into the Companies Act 2014. Úna is deputy chairperson of the Accounting Committee of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
