Valuation - Associate

Our Valuations team is inviting highly motivated and dynamic fresh graduates to begin their careers with us. Our approach takes a holistic view of value, which involves taking the time to comprehend the dynamics of a business, as well as the industry and value drivers. In addition, we draw upon our extensive experience to apply relevant valuation methodologies, utilizing our deep industry knowledge and innovative benchmarking tools.

What you will do:

• Perform valuations of businesses, investment funds' portfolios, tangible and intangible assets, and financial instruments including derivatives, equity and debt securities, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, financial reporting, litigation support, and financial advisory.
• Produce and Analyze financial models and assess commercial data and the assumptions which underlie financial forecasts.
• Research and monitor the latest valuation models and techniques to ensure that our work is in line with industry best practices.
• Support business development initiatives, including preparing proposals.

• Minimum bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic background preferably with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0).
• Internship experience as an Accounting Consultant or a Bookkeeper is a plus.
• A strong grasp of business and intangible asset valuation and proficiency in financial instrument valuation is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving and presentation/report writing skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• High proficiency in both verbal and written English is essential. Chinese or other South East Asian language skills are an added advantage.
