About the job

The candidate will be expected to:

  • Lead teams on various client engagements in developing tax solutions, tax planning and strategies for national and multinational companies in both the energy and natural resources sectors.
  • Review tax returns and conduct the following tasks - compliance and reporting, tax management and risk, and control assessment.
  • Conduct research and consult with team members on various tax matters.
  • Establish positive relationships, work closely and liaise with clients and various government agencies.
  • Manage diverse team members and maintain a high-performing team to deliver exceptional client services.

Desired skills & experience

  • A degree in Accounting from an accredited university with a strong academic background and a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00.
  • Minimum five years experience working in professional, commercial or financial services (External Audit experience in the Big 4 is an advantage).
  • Being professionally certified in brevet is a plus.
  • Proactive, with the ability to manage your projects and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Familiar with working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and on a team.
  • A good command of verbal and written English.
