Information Technology (IT) Assurance - Assistant Manager to Senior Manager

KPMG IT Assurance team invite highly motivated and dynamic professionals with relevant experience to join IT Assurance team. Our team comprises professionals providing Information Technology (IT) audit and security services as well as technology risk advisory related services. This includes IT governance, IT risk and security, data privacy and protection, business resilience, IT project assurance and IT regulatory compliance.

We are seeking for someone who has proven track record in IT audit environment with minimum 8 years of experience within professional services or an in-house information security function, preferably in financial services, fintech, or telco industry.

What you will do:

• Advising and delivering projects on IT Audit frameworks, and operating models.
• Support project and engagement management teams to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner to include: scoping activities, production of deliverables, financial management & engagement and risk management.
• Developing constructive relationships, both internal and external, and support the business development activity of senior members of the team.
• Supporting leadership of the team in the embedding effective working practices.
• Recognise the importance of continuous self-development and actively strive to achieve this.

• Excellent academic background in fields related to computer science, information system, accounting, or relevant STEM subjects.
• Ability to build strong and lasting internal and client relationships.
• Understanding and experience with a wide range of IT audit principles, technologies, and techniques and knowledge of a broad range of IT audit topics e.g. IT controls, IT governance practices supporting the client’s business and operations and data quality of the client’s systems.
• Recognized cybersecurity qualifications – either achieved or working towards (Specifically Certified in SOX Audit, Internal Control over Financial Report – ICoFR, Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
• Good English communication skills (both written and oral) and project management skills.
• Strong attention for detail and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous cases and flexibility to adapt to a variety of different engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations.
