Mergers and Acquisitions - Senior Associate

We are seeking motivated, high-caliber individuals to join our team of professionals to join our Mergers and Acquisitions practice.

Mergers and Acquisitions represent a pivotal change in a company's plan for development or expansion. KPMG Deal Advisory M&A provides organizations constructive advice throughout the life cycle of a transaction.

What you will do:

• Work on sell-side, buy-side and capital-raising deals in all stages of execution.
• Execute M&A deals from a South East Asian perspective, either for South East Asian clients or for global clients with interest in South East Asia (SMEs, larger corporations, MNCs and private equity funds).
• Perform tasks such as building financial models, valuation, drafting information memorandums, financial analysis and reviewing due diligence reports.
• Conduct research and market analysis to help assess the impact of market dynamics and the competitive environment.
• Contribute to the delivery and presentation of client deliverables, business development and marketing initiatives.
• Look forward to intensive corporate training (both technical and soft skills) and gain experience across different sectors and geographies.

• Strong academic background in finance or business with a knowledge of accounting and financial concepts.
• Good understanding of M&A and corporate finance.
• Two to three years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance or private equity.
• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to understand financial statements and build financial models in Excel.
• Good business and commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to execute project plans, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize workloads.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and reporting skills in English.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
