About the Job
KPMG Restructuring Services help businesses and their stakeholders to conceptualize and implement strategic, operational and financial change. These changes are due to a constantly evolving business lifecycle, with businesses facing issues such as right sizing and structuring for growth, underperformance, shortage of liquidity and insolvency.
KPMG’s experienced Restructuring professionals across its member firms are focused on helping underperforming businesses work through their issues so they can restore value and enhance financial operational performance for the long-term.
As a restructuring consultant, you will be part of a team who are dedicated to their craft in bringing practical solutions to our clients and their stakeholders, with hands-on involvement in the implementation of restructuring plans.
Desired skills and experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited university with a strong academic background
- Licensed CPA or CA would be advantageous
- Possess relevant experience at the minimum 2 years for Senior Associate, 4 years for Assistant Manager, and 6 years for Manager in leading public accounting firm or global consulting firm
- Possess a strong understanding of business drivers and their fundamentals, financial statements and cash flow forecasts;
- Have good financial analysis, business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of credit and lending;
- Be able to work in teams with excellent interpersonal skills
- For Manager level, should have adequate experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project
- Be resourceful, versatile and have ability to execute project plans, manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads
- Have strong communication skills (verbal and written) and sound reporting skills in English
- Have strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
