Róbert Mátrai

Róbert holds a degree in economics from Corvinus University of Budapest, with a specialization in financial investment analysis and risk management. Since 2025, he has been part of KPMG’s Financial Risk Management team. Prior to that, he spent 15 years at the Central Bank of Hungary. He has extensive knowledge in financial regulation, supervision, and monetary policy. He has gained in-depth experience in reviewing the business models, capital adequacy, and risk management practices of credit institutions and insurance companies. He has also contributed to the development of domestic regulations and supervisory methodologies related to green finance.
