Gergely Kármán

Gergely joined KPMG in 2021. He has nearly ten years of experience in banking risk management, primarily in bank credit risk (PD, LGD, EAD) and financial models. He spent the first seven years of his career in the banking sector as a risk management specialist, modeling professional and validator at market-leading financial institutions. Since 2019, he has also supported the review of IFRS 9 impairment models and the audit of international financial institutions as a risk management consultant. In addition, he has gained extensive experience in data analysis, programming (SAS, R, SQL, SPSS), as well as banking regulation and capital adequacy. Gergely graduated from Corvinus University in Budapest with a degree in economics and also gained a master's degree in finance.
