From 1 October 2022, two new partners are added to the KPMG Hungary team, both of whom will support the audit department with their innovative work.
Zsuzsanna Csáki, as one of the heads of the Audit Quality and Audit Financial Service team, is a leading national expert on audit methodology and accounting issues in the financial sector. In recent years Zsuzsa has represented our firm on several occasions in international projects and at professional consultations with various authorities, regulatory and other organisations, whilst playing an active role in KPMG’s business development processes in the audit sector. From next year onwards, in addition to her Audit Quality responsibilities, she will primarily be working as the lead engagement partner for the audits of newly acquired large clients.
Zsuzsa has been with KPMG since 2001 mainly managing audits of credit institutions, financial enterprises and investment fund managers, including working with audit support specialists on IT audits, risk management and valuation tasks.
Willem Delport is the Chief Operating Officer of the KPMG Global Statutory Audit Centre of Excellence (GSA CoE), and he will lead the GSA CoE area as a partner from October 2022. The organisation’s task is to globally coordinate, standardise and automate the audit process based on KPMG’s Clara system to ensure clients receive top quality service. Willem played a decisive role in creating the concept, and took part in establishing the operating processes of the new organisational unit and driving business development; he has also been a key figure in GSA CoE becoming a centre employing more than 100 people at two locations, in Budapest and in Johannesburg, in the two and a half years since the idea was broached.
Willem Delport joined KPMG Hungary’s team in 2015, prior to which he worked at the firm’s Johannesburg office. He has been an audit director since 2019 and Chief Operating Officer of the GSA Centre of Excellence since 2020.
