Cheryl has extensive audit and assurance experience spanning 19 years at KPMG, across a variety of financial services clients. She is involved in all aspects of leading and delivering audit engagements on a broad spectrum of Global Insurance clients, including executive level client interaction. Cheryl leads audit engagements, both large and small, public and private financial services organisations, in the UK, Gibraltar and Jersey. Cheryl’s focus is largely general insurance in more recent years, currently including two well-known motor insurers, London market, and other general insurance underwriters and brokers. Cheryl’s passion for data analytics and automation lead to her pioneering tools and techniques now used by the entire UK and Gibraltar practice and she now heads up KPMG’s Insurtech audit sector. All these roles require the ability to lead and co-ordinate large teams and specialists, extensive insurance and technical knowledge to challenge critical judgements and estimates, and delivery to Audit Committees, group executives and board members.
