The University of Ghana Business School Alumni Association Business Excellence Awards Night

The University of Ghana Business School Alumni Association organised a Business Excellence Awards Night, on 8th July, 2022 at the Labadi Beach Hotel.  The event was themed “Awarding Excellence in Achievement: The Role of UGBS Alumni”.  The Alumni Association’s maiden Business Excellence Awards event, for alumni and students, aims to identify and celebrate individuals and businesses that make outstanding contributions to the success of UGBS as well as socio-economic development in Ghana.

The President of the UGBS Alumni Association, Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare in a welcome address noted that this year’s edition is to lay the foundation for subsequent years, hence entreated all to join the Alumni Association for them to contribute immensely to the growth and development of the Business School.

KPMG was awarded an honorary award for continued support towards the UGBS and the Alumni Association and in addition, the Senior Partner, Mr. Anthony Sarpong received the Ambassador of the UGBS Alumni Association honorary award! In addition, various individuals and groups from various fields such as finance, marketing, accounting, public administration, and human resource management were recognised and a number of institutions and active year groups were also recognized for their philanthropic works.

We are pleased to be appreciated for our contribution of ideas and support to the UGBS Alumni Association and look forward to many more collaborations with them.
