Identify critical skill gaps and build targeted approaches and strategies to workforce development, reskilling, succession and leadership capability.

Strengthen employee value propositions, talent frameworks, performance, remuneration and retention strategies to ensure organisations have the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles, at the right time.

We assist organizations in navigating complex financial, governance, and operational challenges, and in adapting investment strategies, optimizing portfolio management, and evaluating risk and compliance frameworks. We also support our clients with governance and organizational design to help them implement accountability-driven structures that enhance operational efficiency.

We evaluate the financial management capacity of a grant implementing partner to determine its overall risk rating and other necessary assurance activities. This rating helps donor agencies select the most suitable cash transfer modality based on the partner’s business model, identify critical capacity gaps to inform the development of capacity-building plans.

We evaluate the public financial management system within which the donor agency provides cash transfers to grant implementing partners. Factors we consider can include national procurement capacity, exchange rate volatility, and the presence of informal markets. This assessment identifies general risks associated with using the public financial management system for government agencies, while additional country-specific insights, such as environmental and economic conditions, are gathered for non-governmental organisations.

We review financial records related to the management of partnerships with donor agencies. These checks are designed to assess financial compliance and operational efficiency.

We focus not only on risk assessment but also on strengthening financial management capacity among grant implementing partners. Our capacity development efforts include follow-ups on assurance findings, risk assessments, and addressing specific financial control weaknesses identified by donor agencies.

We assess the implementation capacity of a nominated grant recipient, including their track record, internal control effectiveness, and key grant documents. The process also includes monitoring grant progress, ensuring appropriate fund usage, and evaluating implementation effectiveness through progress updates, disbursement requests, and site visits to verify results and data quality. Further responsibilities include advising the donor on potential risks and activities, ensuring financial integrity and successful implementation.
