KPMG helped the client achieve unified GRC and ESG solutions with Workiva

A Nordic industrial manufacturing company with revenue exceeding 10 billion sought to enhance their Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) processes and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting. The company's initial situation highlighted the need for an efficient solution to enhance controls, audit, policy and risk management processes, as well as ESG reporting. Their existing system was inadequate, and the teams operated in silos, each managing the same controls and risks with separate data sets, leading to inefficiencies and inconsistencies.

The solution involved implementing the Workiva platform, which the company had been considering.
