Our annual reports for the financial year ended September 2024 have been published today. This year, we are including financial information and information about corporate sustainability in one integrated report. We also continue publishing a separate Transparency Report in accordance with the EU Audit Regulation N:o 537/2014.

At the end of the financial year 2024, we have 1,900 of our extraordinary people in Finland and Estonia combined. In our reports, you will discover how we are succeeding with our people and our clients and strengthening a purpose-driven, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

Despite the challenging market conditions that affected us and our clients during the financial year, we achieved profitable growth. Growth is important for us to be even more relevant for our clients and also for our people. We continued our focus on all three service lines—audit & assurance, tax & legal and advisory—and also strengthened the role of our client segments to ensure we have industry specific capabilities and can effectively serve various types of organizations.

Our financial year 2024 milestones

An important milestone this financial year was preparing and launching our new strategy for the years ahead. Our strategy is aimed at maximizing the value we create for our people, clients and society. We aim for continued profitable growth in all our functions and through our key focus areas. In our strategy, ESG and business and functional transformations supported by technology, including AI, are some of our key focus areas. Our ambition and vision is to build a sustainable future.

We support our clients at every step and all levels of their ESG path. At the same time, we are advancing on our own ESG journey. We are making great progress with this, but there is still work ahead of us. During the financial year, we systematized our human rights due diligence (HRDD) process and assessed our climate risks across our operations and value chain. We are also taking steps to extend our reporting in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) guidance and recommendations, highlighted by our updated double materiality assessment.
