Investments in our people’s learning, wellbeing, technology and ESG capabilities continued
KPMG Oy Ab’s Annual Report, Transparency and Sustainability Reports for the financial year that ended September 2022 have been published today. The past financial year was another strong growth year for us with a record turnover of EUR 219 million. We achieved growth in all functions, client segments and geographical areas. We continued to invest in our people’s training and wellbeing, technology and ESG capabilities throughout our organization in the financial year.
The number of employees in the group grew by 11.1% and we ranked as one of the most attractive employers in our industry among students in the Universum Awards Students Ranking 2022. Revenue from the services produced with our own technology solutions increased and we focused on strengthening our people’s technology and ESG capabilities. Our people used an average of 21.3 days per person for training and self-learning during the financial year.
We have advanced our own ESG commitments through Our Impact Plan. The wellbeing of our people is at the heart of our corporate sustainability work, so we organised numerous wellbeing events and campaigns in Finland and Estonia. During the financial year, we began a materiality assessment process and creation of our local carbon roadmap as well as supported charities with donations and pro bono work.
