      The Garant Identity and Access Management (IAM) Support Service offers customers a personalised support service delivered from Finland. The support services provided vary from one organisation to another and offer a range of features and functionalities according to the client’s wishes and needs.

      Our solution: Garant Support Service

      In addition to strategic IAM consulting and implementation projects, we provide continuous support and further development services for your adopted IAM technology. We call this service offering KPMG Garant. The KPMG Garant service package includes, for example:

      • Service request management
      • Dedicated service manager and a centralised point of contact
      • Service level monitoring and reporting
      • Continuous enhancement, minor development, and configuration changes

      A whistleblowing reporting channel – that is, a channel and process for reporting suspected misconduct – is mandatory for all organisations with at least 50 employees and for entities exposed to money laundering, regardless of size. Whistleblower protection legislation aims to ensure that whistleblowers do not suffer consequences because of their disclosure and that their identities are not revealed.

      Our solution: Whistleblowing channel service as a fully outsourced solution

      KPMG offers a whistleblowing channel service as an outsourced end-to-end solution. Our multidisciplinary experts can manage the entire process if needed – from system deployment to confidential receipt and processing of reports, as well as investigations in accordance with the client’s governance model and specifications. The technical notification system (SaaS service) is provided by an external vendor.

      We can also tailor a support package according to the client’s needs for launching the channel and processes, for maintaining them, and for handling or investigating reports.

      If an organisation already has a notification system in place, we can assess to what extent the current channel and its operating model meet the requirements of legislation and industry standards, and identify areas where adjustments to the process may be necessary.
