KPMG’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments are outlined in our global ESG plan, i.e. Our Impact Plan. The plan focuses on four categories: People, Planet, Prosperity, and Governance. Within these, guided by our local double materiality assessment, we have identified local priorities and set targets to signpost our journey and hold ourselves accountable for our progress.
Donations and voluntary work
The annual KPMG Community Day organized in both Finland and Estonia offers our people an opportunity to spend the day volunteering for various charities and causes aligned with our Our Impact Plan themes and Values. In Estonia three working days per financial year can also be spend taking up voluntary work, either together with co-workers or independently.

During the 2025 financial year, KPMG Finland Group paid and collected €113 million to governments, which represented 43% of our turnover. Due to the nature of our industry, personnel-related tax payments constitute most of our taxes.
During the 2025 financial year, KPMG Finland Group received no financial assistance nor any subsidies from the government.

WWF Green Office is specifically designed for office environment to help reduce its carbon footprint and use natural resources sustainably. The program is flexible and scalable, making it suitable for both small and large workplaces across public and private sectors.

By participating in WWF Green Office program, we contribute to broader sustainability goals, including WWF’s international conservation work, funded partly through annual fees. The program also aligns with global frameworks such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, offering concrete actions for reducing environmental impact in everyday office operations.
