KPMG Egypt’s “Fun Day”

As part of KPMG’s commitment to ensuring an inclusive and friendly organizational culture, a “Fun Day” was held at Adrenaline Park, the Middle East’s largest paintball arena. More than 700 employees gathered for a day of entertainment that saw a comprehensive program of fun activities including paint balling, laser tag, team-building exercises, live stage karaoke in addition to football, volleyball and PlayStation tournaments. Employees enjoyed an all-day open food court and an extensive outdoor seating space to re-energize and socialize in-between activities. 
KPMG members were randomly allocated to color-coded teams, independent of employee title or department, and competed against other teams. Competitions were held on a rotational basis to ensure that all “Fun Day” participants had the opportunity to engage in each activity. The event was a groundbreaking success for the firm and was enjoyed by staff, employees and partners alike. The overwhelming positive feedback will most certainly encourage similar events to take place throughout the year.
