Ahmed has over 14 years of professional experience and is the Partner responsible for the Transaction Services (TS) practice at KPMG Egypt since 2013. Prior to joining the TS practice in 2005, Ahmed was enrolled in KPMG audit function since 2000 and used to provide assurance Ahmed has been dedicated as the Head of Deal Advisory of KPMG Egypt in 2015. Services for major banks, funds, investment companies and manufacturers.

Professional and Industry Experience

While at KPMG Advisory practice, Ahmed has managed large-scale advisory engagements.
He has experience within the following industries: Cement,
Ready Mix Concrete, Steel Rebars, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Agriculture, Telecommunications, Industrial Markets and Sanitary Wares. His work concentrates over the Middle East and Gulf area and had participated in many engagements in Europe as well.

Managed and supervised carve-out advisory assignments related to the Chemicals industry;
Managed and supervised financial and tax due diligence engagements including – but not limited to – underlying EBITDA, net debt, working capital and cash flows;
Ahmed’s TS exposure involves diagnostic assignments for restructuring in connection with process analysis, controls, weaknesses and probable enhancement, in addition to post and pre-deal due diligences, completion and EBITDA accounts’ compliance, SPA support,…etc; and
Managed and supervised TS engagements on behalf of several international/regional accounts and investment vehicles
