Walid has over 20 years of international professional experience; Walid was enrolled in KPMG audit function since 2005. Walid is IFRS accredited Partner who serves as audit engagement partner or audit quality review partner for several industrial, infrastructure, construction and manufacturing projects. Walid is also KPMG Training and Methodology Instructor.

Professional and Industry Experience

  • The 19 years of experience in this specialized industry gives a lot of support to the performance of the engagement. Walid has provided audit and accounting services to those clients in addition to special engagements such as due diligence.
 
  • While at KPMG Hazem Hassan, he has managed large-scale audit ngagements. And has experience within the following industries: Food manufacturing, Cement, Fertilizer, Power Cables,  and Industrial Markets in Egypt. Managed and supervised Auditing including IFRS engagements for the Infrastructure and Construction Services, Industrial Market and Consumer Products, Fertilizers and Mining entities.

 

  • Certified Public Accountant from the United States (CPA).

  • Member of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors (ESAA).
