      Ahmed has been working with KPMG for over 30 years.

      He currently serves as Head of Advisory and Transaction Services Practice Leader in Egypt, supervising multi-skilled teams involved in due diligence, pre-deal evaluations, vendor assistance, and IPO support.

       

       

      1. Areas of expertise

        Professional and Industry Experience 

        • Ahmed has led audit and accounting services for numerous multinational clients, in addition to advisory engagements such as due diligence.
        • He has extensive experience in audit, transaction services, and internal audit support across a wide range of industries, including energy, services, construction, and industrial development. He has carried out major assignments and delivered audit and transaction services to various clients, particularly within the oil and gas sector.
        • Ahmed is also the Head of the Energy & Natural Resources practice in Egypt.
        • He has deep expertise in the oil and gas industry and has served many clients in Egypt and the wider region.
        • This experience has enabled him to gain in-depth knowledge of the upstream oil industry, including concession agreements, joint ventures, oil and gas accounting, and cost recovery principles in Egypt, Libya, and Sudan. In addition, he has led transaction services engagements across Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Russia, Malaysia, and several Middle Eastern countries.
