Ave Rego

Ave has been tightly connected to taxation for more than 11 years. Ave has participated in many tax projects on local and international level, e.g. tax reviews, tax due diligence projects, taxation of individuals. Ave joined KPMG in 2017. Prior to joining KPMG, Ave worked for an international audit firm for 5 years. Her main responsibilities were consulting the firm’s clients, employees and management on tax and legal (commercial law, employment law) matters. Ave started her career in public sector. She worked for the Estonian Tax and Customs Board for several years. Her main responsibilities were related to performing tax audits and advising legal persons and individuals in tax matters. Due to the long-term interest in topics related to human resources Ave has also studied Personnel Management (master’s studies) which involved strategic personnel management, recruitment and development processes, remuneration processes, conducting personnel surveys etc. Ave likes to see things through practical lens and to find satisfying resolutions to day-to-day challenges. She takes responsibilities very seriously, is well-tuned to others’ emotions and has a strong ability to keep things running smoothly. Ave is organized, gets projects finished on time and thus supports other colleagues to be more productive.
