Age Peterson

Age joined KPMG in 2007, and over the years she has accumulated a wide range of experience in the field of accounting. In addition to accounting advisory, Age has worked at KPMG as both an auditor and bookkeeper. Thanks to this, Age understands well the perspectives and interests of different parties. Age has broad-based knowledge of auditing large and small Estonian companies, including process mapping, according to both the Estonian Financial Reporting Standard (Estonian GAAP) and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Currently, Age’s main task is advising clients on more complex accounting issues, including, for example, IFRS transitions, adoption of new standards, purchase analyses, accounting for M&A deals, setting up consolidation processes, accounting for crypto assets, etc. Since 2020, Age has been responsible for developing the auditing process for annual reports prepared in the European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) at KPMG Estonia and she is the most experienced ESEF specialist in the office.
