Sten Aan

The Estonian KPMG Energy Sector team led by Sten is focused on helping companies make sustainable investments. The teams main areas of expertise are renewable investments and strategy support in initiating new sustainable businesses. The team covers strategy, financial, legal, tax and audit support for energy sector clients. 

Sten has wide experience in new business development and leading multidisciplinary teams in energy sector. He has previously lead the new services department in the biggest energy group in Estonia – Eesti Energia, successfully leading the launch of solar business, nationwide electrical vehicle charging service, home insurance and export of engineering services to Swedish and Finnish market. Additionally, he has lead product development of hybrid off-grid solution and has been a power grid engineer in Elektrilevi, the biggest power network company in Estonia.

On his free time Sten is an avid LA Lakers fan and spends most of his free time with family.
