Tony Mancini has been appointed to a new role as Office Lead for KPMG in Guernsey as Neale Jehan, who leads KPMG’s practice in the Crown Dependencies, will become Regional Senior Partner of KPMG’s Islands Group from 1 October and joins KPMG’s Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMA) Board.
The KPMG Islands Group, which consists of 5 firms across 14 jurisdictions with 110 partners and 2,250 staff, is uniquely structured across island jurisdictions with common clients and industry sectors. The group stretches from the Cayman Islands to Malta and covers financial services, tourism, digital and infrastructure sectors.
Neale, who will remain Senior Partner of the Crown Dependencies firm and be based in Guernsey said, “I am delighted to step into the regional role and lead this fantastic grouping of firms. We have worked together for over 20 years and will continue to leverage our knowledge and experience of living and working in island jurisdictions, whilst retaining close links into European and US markets. There are common challenges for our jurisdictions in the coming years, but also opportunities to work closer regionally to the benefit of our clients and people.”
Tony Mancini, in his new role as Office Lead for Guernsey will ensure that KPMG’s focus on the local market remains strong. Tony is well known in local business, having just completed his two year appointment as Chair of the Guernsey International Business Association (GIBA). Tony commented, “It’s a pleasure to take on this role and I am determined to push forward our growth plans for the island, focussing on what we do well and continuing our long standing contribution to the local community.”
