Ben Tovell

He is an innovative credit & ESG expert focussed on finding innovative ways to fund the net zero transition across the KPMG Island Group (“KIG”), using nature-based-solutions, voluntary carbon markets (including blue carbon), sustainable finance (including blue bonds), credit enhancement, blended finance, and other innovative finance structures.

Ben also supports KPMG’s ESG Transformation and IMPACT initiatives.

Prior to joining KPMG, Ben was focussed on helping build a sustainable future through finance, with a specific focus on clean technology commercialisation. His most recent role before KPMG was for a listed Australian Stock Exchange (“ASX”) clean technology company as a dedicated ESG Advisor, and as non-exclusive debt advisor.
