In the 2022 financial year (01.10.2021 to 30.09.2022), KPMG in Germany generated a total operating revenue of 2.17 billion euros (+9.1 percent).

• In the Advisory business unit (management consulting), KPMG grew at an above-average rate: total operating revenue rose by 17.2 percent to 906 million euros, a new record.
• The Audit Division achieved a total output of 667 million euros and is back on the growth path with an increase of 5.2 per cent. Audit continues to make a stable contribution of around one third to our business.
• Tax, which includes legal services, increased by 1.8 per cent to 581 million euros in the 2022 business year.
• In the financial year 2022, KPMG hired more than 3,200 employees in Germany. As of 30 September 2022, 13,154 people were employed in Germany. This is a new record.

KPMG also expects sustainable and profitable growth in the current financial year.
