Jiří Urban

With over 15 years of experience in forensic services, Jiří primarily focuses on dispute advisory to parties involved in litigation or investment arbitration, where his experience spans from the initial assessment of the claims, preparation of expert reports and critical review of opposing experts’ work to assistance in document production and hearing attendance. He has worked with legal counsel for claimants or respondent states in Central Europe, the Balkans and the Commonwealth of Independent states. In respect of KPMG expert reports, Jiří regularly testifies in Court. Jiří has also taken part in other kinds of forensic projects, such as fraud investigations and reviews related to the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), where he has liaised with external and internal legal counsel and clients’ representatives, analyzed evidence, supervised project teams, and drafted investigation reports.
