David has over 7 years’ experience in leading software license reviews and Software Asset Management initiatives in Central and Eastern Europe and RCIS region. He is a member of KPMG’s Intellectual Property and Contract Governance global steering committee. He has over 10 years’ experience in working with clients on SAP, both locally and internationally. This has included a focus on driving efficiencies across end-to-end processes through standardisation and centralisation, as well as reviewing the effectiveness of user access management. He also has over 10 years’ experience in supporting clients with their Shared Services initiatives, including developing the strategy and business case, identifying and redesigning processes to be transitioned, definition of the Target Operating Model and Retained Organisation, implementation of the SSC and post-implementation reviews of operational effectiveness and integrity of internal controls. David additionally over 10 years’ experience in supporting clients in the development of their operational audit and IT audit plans and the execution of these plans. This has included regional plans from global technology companies and European manufacturing groups. David also has more than 10 years’ experience in supporting clients on Mergers and Acquisitions activities, including pre-deal evaluations of IT environments to determine their fitness for purpose, scalability and reliability, the dependence on key IT personnel, the opportunities for integration and the achievement of the projected benefits realisation and the identification of un-projected Capex and Opex IT spending. He also has more than 10 years’ experience in leading programme assurance quality reviews for large scale transformation projects. This includes reviewing the quality of deliverables including blueprints and security strategies and concepts, as well as the evaluation of PMO related activities, including management of business cases and costs, progress against plans and the quality of user involvement in development and testing.
