Webinar’s overview

This informative webinar aims to present the current sustainability landscape and the work done in respect to the commitments made by nations. In addition, participants will be informed on how reporting obligations will transform in the coming years as a result of regulation coming to force.

The trainer of the seminar, a Senior Manager with hands-on experience in his field, will provide participants with an overview of the sustainability landscape as it is shaped now, the current and upcoming regulations and the increasing reporting obligations. Practical knowledge on how non-financial reporting will transform will be shared as well, focusing on the key changes and how the companies should start adapting.

Trainers

Petros Sorokkos

Petros is a Senior Manager at the Governance, Risk and Compliance Services department of KPMG in Cyprus. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in European and Comparative Public Policy. He is a member of the Association of Internal Auditors of Cyprus, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He possesses extensive experience in strategy consulting, public procurement, internal audit, sustainability and regulatory compliance, servicing clients both in the private and public sector. He assists various organisations in setting up Anti-bribery Management Systems. Moreover, he has knowledge of KPMG methodologies geared towards assessing the impact of ESG risks in companies. Finally, he has wide experience in the implementation and management of projects funded by instruments of the European Union both at national and at EU level.
