On February 23, we celebrated a milestone at our new head office in Riyadh as launched our first KPMG in Saudi Arabia Alumni evening. A total of 150 Alumni attended this event, accompanied by our partners and directors our current firm.
Our Chairman, Dr. Abdullah Al Fozan opened the evening with a welcoming speech, remembering stories from his journey of almost two decades within the firm, then followed by three alumni who also shared stories about their time with KPMG and how it defined the course of their careers. These guest speakers were Tareq Al Sadhan, the CEO at Riyad Bank and Managing Partner at KPMG in Saudi Arabia between 1997 and 2015, Najla Najm who went on to become HR expert at Mercer and Shaikh Shahid, former Head of the risk consulting and currently advisor to Chairman at Al-Murjan Holding.
After the speeches and a video with many archive materials, we had a dinner in front of our office and a tour of the Insight Center which we also officially opened that day.
