Liam has been a partner in KPMG since 2004 and has over 20 years tax experience. Liam advises a range of large Irish private companies, especially a number expanding internationally, as well as having wide experience with financial services organisations where he concentrates on advising clients in the insurance industry. In addition, he advises on high net worth individuals and families. He provides both domestic and international tax advice, and has wide experience of drawing together the salient features of various regimes from around the world to decide upon the best solution for his clients. He has wide experience of leading large multi-country teams in delivering these solutions, including leading international tax teams on large scale mergers and acquisitions transactions.

He has spoken and written widely on tax matters generally in Irish and international publications, both in the areas of general tax matters and insurance tax in particular. He has presented to Irish politicians, MEPs in Brussels, the EU Commission including meeting with the relevant EU commissioner and the US Government.

Liam is also former President of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
