Responsibilities

  • Providing the in country on the ground leadership within Enable across China Technology Centres, driving all Enabler activities in China on behalf of the CIO and extended leadership team.
  • Leading and driving significant transformation and step change in ways of operating across the Enable Population based in China, working closely with the CIO, Portfolio and Engineering Heads to mature the capability and drive efficient and cultural change across the workforce.
  • Working with the Platform CTOs and Enabler leadership team to drive excellence engineering practice.
  • Representing Enabler across the broader WPB and Technology community within the China Technology Centre to deliver a truly diverse workforce.
  • Providing entity leadership to the Enabler workforce located in the China Technology Centre’s Stakeholders, Leadership & Teamwork.
  • Working closely with Platform CTOs, Value Steam Tech Leads, Portfolio and Engineering Heads as part of the Enabler Technology Leadership team.
  • Leading a customer-centred culture, championing activities and encouraging everyone to be at their best.
  • Engaging with colleagues 2 levels above peers, other than peer group key individuals likely to be WPB CIO’s and China Technology Leadership.
  • Strengthen stakeholder relationships, building relationships to influence decision and ensure stakeholder advocacy using organization knowledge.
  • Ensuring own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
  • Driving new ways of operating and shifts in culture across the workforce in China aligned to and leading the broader Enabler and WPB strategies.

Requirements

  • Strongly understand of WPB Customer Channel and Staff Channel Systems’ design and development practices.
  • Familiarity with the capabilities of the channel, understanding of the design and development practices of WPB's customer channel and employee channel systems, with a particular focus on quality and maximum re-use.
  • Technical competency to understand the relationship between application design, data, and infrastructure.
  • Delivering customer needs in large and complex organizations, with relevant experience and demonstrable project success.
  • Commercially aware and understands platforms, services and underlying processes to fulfil.
  • Experiencing in relation to cyber security and knowledge of Cloud, using Scaled Agile and DevSecOps tools and processes.
  • Having strong ability to balance risk and reward, excellent leadership skills and team management experience is preferred. Lead and influence across a broad range of the Technology organisation.
