With over 14 years of experience, Jeffrey is a Partner at KPMG in Canada's KPMG Law Tax practice.
Jeffrey specializes in asset management (mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, pooled funds), wealth management (including registered plans and broker-dealers), banking, capital markets and private equity taxation matters. He also has extensive experience in advising clients on resolving tax disputes and with a variety of Canadian income tax planning matters.
Prior to joining KPMG, Jeffrey worked for four years in the taxation group of one of Canada’s largest banks, providing tax advice to its asset management, wealth management, Canadian personal and commercial banking, and capital markets businesses. Previously, Jeffrey practiced for 6 years as an Associate in the tax group of one of Canada’s leading law firms.
Jeffrey participates in the CETFA Taxation Committee, the IFIC Taxation Working Group, and the PMAC Industry Regulation and Tax Committee.
