Edwin D. Isted

Edwin is an Executive Director on KPMG’s Financial Services Solutions team and co-leads the Payments capability for Management Consulting. Edwin has broad experience in financial services, spanning 26 years across multiple geographies, with a specific focus on payments across both traditional and non-traditional participants—ranging from national infrastructure providers, financial institutions through to big tech and fin tech players. Within the North American context, Edwin is assisting clients in driving their wires modernization, ISO20022 adoption, Open Payments and broader payments strategies across multiple industries. Recently, Edwin has focused on initiatives addressing the modernization of the payments ecosystem both for fiat, as well as non-fiat currencies where he is passionate about unlocking value in the payments arena.
