Amit Chalam is a Risk Consulting Partner in the Toronto Financial Services practice and specializes in the insurance industry. He has spent close to 19 years in Toronto, New York and India performing a combination of operational process and controls advisory services, internal audits and financial statement audits. He has worked with a wide variety of insurance companies including general insurers, life insurers, mortgage insurers and reinsurers on a variety of engagements, including various ongoing IFRS 17 engagements.

Specifically, Amit’s core strengths and accomplishments include:

  • Experienced in coordinating engagements of multi-national organizations with other KPMG member firms around the world
