Mark has worked on insurance and reinsurance engagements in over 56 countries and has travelled to many of them. As a result Mark has an extensive and broad spanning network of contacts, together with a good understanding of the operational environments around the world.

Professional and Industry Experience

Mark is a Partner of KPMG Advisory Limited in Bermuda and a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. He primarily focuses on insurance solutions for the global insurance, reinsurance and captive industries. Mark has managed a diverse range of multi-jurisdictional engagements, including:

• Start-up and structuring advice
• Insurance company benchmarking, operational/strategic reviews and corporate streamlining
• Cost optimization
• Buy side and sell side advisory
• Acquisition advice and due diligence on insurance and reinsurance portfolios and companies
• Claims management and strategy reviews
• Exit planning and implementation for companies in relation to specific products,
  lines of business and whole businesses
• Worldwide reinsurance asset recovery, including ledger management and commutation/novation negotiations
