For this edition, we welcomed Annick Van Overstraeten, CEO of Le Pain Quotidien. She shared with us the background of Le Pain Quotidien, the challenges she faced and talked about her vision of leadership and entrepreneurship.
Annick Van Overstraeten has spent her entire professional life in the food and retail sectors. Before becoming the CEO of Le Pain Quotidien, she was Chief Executive Officer & Director at Lunch Garden, Operations Director at Quick Restaurants SA and Director-Commercial & Marketing at Confiserie Leonidas NV. She is also on the board of several companies.
Annick Van Overstraeten is CEO of Le Pain Quotidien (Company Owned Stores & Master Franchises worldwide) since July 2020. From 2010 to 2020 she was the CEO of Lunch Garden Group and member of the Executive Board of Directors. Before that, she was General Director Operations at Quick Restaurants BELUX (from 2004 to 2009), and gained five years of experience as Commercial and Marketing Director at Leonidas NV - she started her career at Leonidas as Manager of 30 establishments, after which she had the opportunity to grow within the organization. Furthermore, she is member of the Steering Committee of FEB (Federation of Enterprises in Belgium), Board member of Bemora, member of the Board of Directors of Euro Shoe Group, Board member and member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee of Immobel and member of the Board of Directors of Financière de Tubize.
