Program

KPMG Belgium cordially invites you to ‘Demystifying CSRD: A Practical Guide to Implement Corporate Sustainability Reporting in your Business’.

In the run up to the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) becoming a mandatory non-financial reporting framework, we have curated a unique series of seminars to help you prepare for CSRD compliance and, ultimately, enable the sustainable business transformation of your organization. During the seminars, KPMG’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting and data management experts will guide you through practical steps using clear and actionable examples.

Our first introductory session on 4 July 2023 will cover the initial key-elements of CSRD: scoping assessment, double materiality assessment, and CSRD gap analysis. The second session and third session will respectively explore the all-important data angle and how technology solutions can aid and accelerate ESG reporting. Continuing into the new year, when complete guidelines on CSRD disclosures are expected to be finalized, we will walk you through the compliance readiness steps, including EU Taxonomy reporting, assurance readiness, third-party assurance, and narrative reporting. Finally, our last session will delve deeper into essential ESG topics that can be leveraged as value creating opportunities for your business.
