As an Attorney-at-Law with over 12 years of legal experience, Seymur provides a comprehensive range of expertise across various fields, including civil, contract, banking, labor, and migration laws. His work spans multiple legal advisory projects, such as due diligence, drafting shareholder agreements, and offering legal structuring and labor advice.
In his role as Director, Seymur has led numerous high-profile projects. He and his team provides legal services to COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company. He led a number of major M&A projects in Azerbaijan, including due diligence, drafting of SPAs etc. In addition, he led legal services to infrastructure projects and was involved in dispute resolutions between parties.
In the realm of finance and banking law, Seymur has advised on the implementation of FATCA for top Azerbaijani banks, including Unibank and AFB Bank. He also served as legal counsel for the Islamic Development Bank Group, offering advice on financial leasing legislation, and advised Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Taxes on FATCA requirements.
