Shahlar Mammadov

Having 10 years of professional experience, Shahlar has been specialized mainly in commercial law, financial transactions and dispute resolution matters. He also has wide practice in legal due diligence projects, corporate structuring, public-private partnerships, real estate and regulatory compliance advisory. Prior to joining KPMG, Shahlar has been involved in a legal practice in one of top-rated banks in Azerbaijan and the national satellite operator “Azercosmos”. Moreover, he worked as a judge assistant both in civil and economic-administrative boards at senior courts in the initial years of his career. In addition to his legal practice, Shahlar has long-standing academic experience as an adjunct lecturer at ADA University and Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
