About Nasiba
Nasiba has more than eight year experience in audit and advisory services in Azerbaijan and the UK. She possesses strong communication skills and has experience in leading large international teams for both audit and advisory engagements.
Nasiba started her career in 2008 in another Big 4 firm in Azerbaijan, and joined KPMG in 2011, when KPMG’s office in Baku was reopened. While working in Azerbaijan Nasiba has gained significant experience in provision of audit and consulting services to banks, insurance and leasing companies. Nasiba participated in such consultancy engagements as financial due diligence, financial risk management, debt issuance advisory and others. In addition to Nasiba’s banking experience, she led teams performing audit of IFRS financial statements and special purpose financial information for clients in construction, oil and gas, utilities, technology and other industry sectors.
In 2016, Nasiba continued her career in KPMG’s London office, where she worked as Manager in Banking audit department. While working in UK, she was part of audit team for listed international banking group, where she was responsible for IFRS9 compliant SPPI testing, consolidation, group audit coordination, transaction services consulting on debt issuance and prospectus emissions, coordination of IT element of audit, data and analytics coordination, and other consulting and audit services.
In 2017, Nasiba returned to KPMG Baku office, and is currently working as Director leading Financial Services Practice in KPMG in Azerbaijan.
