Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Translate various documents from English/Azerbaijani/Russian into Azerbaijani/English, including financial, legal and business-related content.
  • Work closely with different internal teams (e.g., audit, legal, tax, deal advisory and consulting) to ensure that translations are accurate and contextually appropriate.
  • Proofread and edit translations to ensure high-quality output that meets internal and external standards.
  • Maintain consistency of terminology across all translated documents, in line with company glossaries and style guides.
  • Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines.
  • Support internal teams in creating multilingual communications for clients and employees.
  •  Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information in all translations.
 

General requirements:

  • Native or near-native proficiency in English and Azerbaijani, along with a good command of Russian, and strong written communication skills.
  • Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional translation, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Experience translating financial, legal or technical documents is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of cultural nuances and terminology in both languages.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and experience working in a multinational environment is a plus.
